TEPPUU

Alternative Name:鉄風; Iron Wind; Teppu; Tetsufuu
Genre(s):Action, Comedy, Martial Arts, School Life, Seinen, Sports
Author(s):Futada Moare

Teppuu Manga
Summary:
Ishidou Natsuo is a gifted girl who can achieve anything she
wants in sports. Because of this she is permanently bored, as
there aren’t any real challenges to her abilites to make her
feel alive. One day she receives an invitation of a merry girl
to join her martial arts club. ...

bliss's note Think an athletic genius like Honami Sayaka from
Yawara and mix in some real talent like Yawara. But with a
troubling home life, she is annoyed by the cheerful fellow
students and aiming to beat up the girl at the Martial Arts
club And the name of her game is Mixed Martial Arts.
Well depicted. Natsuo is not entirely sympathetic but is
not all negative energy and really enjoys fighting and training
I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did.
Google for it or wait a while as it is supposedly
licensed.

Did anyone else check it out?
The story is quite entertaining, and the figure drawing is quite good,
in contrast to the faces, which are rather crudely drawn.
Natsuo is a credible but not particularly nice character, usually drawn
with a scowl on her face, and has a tendency to get involved in fights.
She's 182cm (almost 6ft) tall and weighs about 70 kg - which must put
her at the extreme of Japanese body sizes - a very tall girl.

At least her weight is realistic. 70 kg is 154 pounds. I recently saw a
profile of a 5'10" female wrestler and it says she weighs 115 pounds:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danielle_Moinet

Summer Rae
Billed height 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m)[1][2]
Billed weight 115 lb (52 kg)[1]

I think she's currently playing a ballroom dancer character on WWE.

Most women I know who are 5'0" easily weigh over 100 pounds.

Well I got lucky today and following a bit of Mf data i found a lot of
unread chapter from 16-29 today. This is so good. The fights
are fast and realistic.
We learn more about what distorted her character and how some
of the other competitors are slightly unusual.
