Query: Has anyone out there heard anything about the new atari direct-connect
modem? The information I have says that it is switchable 300/1200 baud,
and intimates that it may have auto-dial ability. The price that I was quoted
was $400 canadian. Has anybody bought one of these? Are there any reviews
on its performance? Does anybody know if it steals much processor time
while operating? Note: this modem shouldn't require the 850 interface,
as far as I can tell.
