As of the 28th of December 2012, the Sony Playstation 2 production is no more. For myself, like many others hearing this left me with a small feeling of sadness. However this sadness should be seen in a positive light; because of what the Playstation 2 did that made it so great, what it did so people cared when production stopped; and the answer to that is simple. It was a console that bought us great games and without a doubt helped push gaming forward after selling over 150,000,000 units over it’s *almost* 13 year span. It demonstrated gaming is a great investment for both the producers and consumers.

Ps2 finally at rest, you will still be played and honored  as one of gaming’s greatest.
