while a good chunk of power PC Macs would probbly lag like heck on
minecraft it is being stated that as of the 1.4.6 the LWJGL "Lightweight
Java Game Library" in use by Minecraft will no longer be compatable with
Java 1.5 (Java 5) avilable to PowerPC Users see:

compatable with PowerPC Macs for 1.4.6 MC onwards) (offical notice from

i dont have much to say personally as the best G~ Mac i have is a G3 600mhz
"Snow White" iMac. thought i'd give a heads up incase anyone in this group
is oddly playing Minecraft on a G5,
