Both are Bluray.
One for the TV series and one for the OVAs and Movies.
The price is good and if your supply of money is not constrained
then I advise going on over to the The Right Stuff International
and getting both sets then settling down to some righteous
entertainment from the late 1980s.

I remember very well renting the VCR tapes from the
Japan Video now only selling stuff. The first tape did not
impress me and I put off watching the series for a while
as I watch a short ton of other work then came back to KOR
and followed up. This was the most interesting work i had
seen to that time. The opening and closing work was great
and leading edge when it was done.

Later on I had to buy my first DVD player to watch
the rest of the Masson Ikkoku series and together with
MI the KOR TV then the movies became early and unregretted
purchases.

I would only give it 4 stars if reviewing today
because I have some problems with the Christmas and
New Year's episodes, but those are the views of a
pseudo-intellectual* and should be discounted, I was
in my 60s when I watched this the first time all the
way through. *I liked the manga story better.

I hope I can find the time to watch it before
I get out of my 80s.
