A long journey nears it's end [message #402759] |

Five years ago I started posting questions to this forum on a variety of topics to fill in gaps in my Apple II knowledge and endeavor to take another shot at my childhood dream of creating a tile-based Apple II RPG.
The willingness of the community here to share knowledge was refreshing and encouraging. And it was here that I met Qkumba and Michael Pohoreksi who teamed up with me and tackled key components like the file system, compression, splash screen, and font work.
It is my pleasure, with many thanks to you all, to say that Nox Archaist has been officially released!

I look forward to reading about people’s experiences playing this new game
as it takes its place alongside the games that inspired it. Well done Mark
and team.

Mark,
Thank-you for both the blessing and opportunity to work on an RPG for the Apple 2 and shipping my 12th game! An Apple 2 fan couldn't ask for anything more.
I guess the take away here is: Be nice to strangers on the internet -- you never know if you will end up "working" with them in the future! :-)
