The proper term was "boat anchor." I wouldn't mind having one,but I'd probably open it and use it.

Depends on the specific model, at least a couple hundred bucks no matter
which one it is.

Yes, it would have significant value. As Oregonian said, the value range would depend on the model ... An Apple II (original, 1977 - 1979) would fetch more than an Apple II Plus (1979 - 1982), which would fetch more than an Apple IIe (1983 - 1993) due to the rapid increase in quantities manufactured as the years went by.

A NIB, never opened original Apple II could get up to $2000 or $3000, as used ones can sell for $1000 - $1500 usually. They are fairly rare machines.

Used II+ goes for about $300 - $500 now so, maybe up to $800 - $1000 if NIB?

Used IIe costs $150 - $300 now, so maybe up to $600 - $700?
