There a good article about this release that includes screen shots and direct links for downloading disk images on Call-A.P.P.L.E. It can be found at https://www.callapple.org/modern-apple-computing/a2osx-0-93- released/

As always you can also git images, documentation and full source code for the project on the official repository on GitHub which can be found at https://github.com/A2osX/A2osX

The A2osX would love to hear feedback from as many users as possible. We have even created an A2osX specific group/forum for support and discussion. It is comp.sys.apple2.a2osx.

Thanks Antoine. I had to apply to the group first. Tricky when I couldn't see the group. Patrick's post helped me find the group. All is well!

I had wondered why it wasn’t showing up in the groups list.

So, it’s not available on Usenet? If so, that’s a problem for some of us.

I dont have access to the newsgroup feeds. If someone who does could check and see if this group is listed there as either comp.sys.apple2.a2osx or as just a2osx (that latter may be the case).

Thanks,

Patrick

OK, I give up. Near as I can tell, having a Google Group does not get you a Usenet thing. Google Groups allows you to access usenet feeds, but doesn't push the groups you create there the other way. If you a group already existed in usenet (say comp.sys.apple2) then you can use Google Groups to read and post there. But if you create a new group, it does not get replicated out. If someone knows something different, please let me know.

Thanks,

Patrick

None of the NNTP servers I use have comp.sys.apple2.a2osx

There is an actual process for creating usenet groups that get
propagated. D Finnigan did this to create c.s.m.vintage.

I access usenet a2osx through google groups <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/a2osx>

The page identifies as comp.sys.apple2.a2osx

I access comp.sys.apple through google groups <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.sys.apple2>

I am too lazy to investigate the difference between #!forum/ and #!topic/ .
