A while back I absentmindedly put a rampak 4gs in a IIgs. Had some problems and put it aside until I had more time. Yesterday I went to troubleshoot it and shortly after starting I remembered why I had the problems. That card doesn’t do DMA and I was using a ramfast with DMA turned on. With DMA on, the ramfast only sends data to the IIgs onboard RAM and nothing to the rampak 4gs.
