One seems to be needed with Ewan’s internet based software and the other is needed with Transprog lll.

Both from Seven Hills Software.

I have a PIF version 1.5

1992-1993

The other is version 1.6.3 and is a CP

1991-1997

Clearly only one can be active.

Keeping only one active does not seem to function with both Internet software and Transprog lll.

Was there a solution or a fix I am not finding?

Leon

I use the v1.6.3 CDEV, and supply that with all my software that needs
it.

I can't now remember the history on tthis, but assume that Hierarchic
started out life as just a PIF file, then got upgraded to be included
within the CDEV. Certainly I do not have the PIF installed anymore.

The CDEV must be present and loaded at Boot time for Hierarchic to work
correctly,

Cheers - Ewen
