<p class="p3"><span class="Apple-converted-space">    </span>just collected my VidHD board from german customs today and installed it into my AppleIIgs ROM03 system.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p class="p1">However, all I seem to get is a „grey“ screen on the HDMI output while the FBAS shows the system running without flaws.</p>
<p class="p1">STRG-6 does not work also. </p>
<p class="p4"><br></p>
<p class="p1">From what I can see it’s not that there’s no signal - my monitor would say so if there was not anything on the cable - it’s just plain grey. Red and Green LED are lit. Changing slots and removing any other card beside the VidHD did not help either.</p>
<p class="p4"><br></p>
<p class="p1">I tried these two displays which work well with other systems:</p>
<p class="p4"><br></p>

Can you try a different display? Maybe the one you're using doesn't like the signal? Can you check the firmware version? The initial version had strange HDMI output, the more recent version works like a charm. Even on 1080i screens.

I'm not sure those monitors are going to support 1080p which is the only output mode on the VidHD try it in your TV :)

You should still see something, even if part of the display is off screen.

Not always. I had blank screens, even on the 1080i display... I still think, if you've got a 1080i or p TV that's going to be the best/easiest test.

<p class="p1">However, STRG-6 (or STRG-SHIFT-N) still does not work. I can switch through the different text resolutions with ESC-x.</p>

It looks like that might be the Control key as it would give the carret ^ symbol. The first one for the IIe and the 2nd for the the II Plus
