“Babylon” is a new law procedural anime set in the near future where a new and somewhat independent city has been set up next to Tokyo.. City Prosecutors raid a pharm company to search for illegal activity but instead find clues that lead to mysterious deaths and implications of election corruption.
The first episode was slow and mundane. There was nothing here that couldn’t be done in live action. The animation was mediocre. The story line was uninspired. The characters were wooden. I’m not a big fan of procedural dramas and this did nothing to convince me that I should be. Therefore, I’m giving up on this after the first episode and my final rating is C.
