I don't know the current status - but the Internet Archive of it is
fully functional, last crawled on September 11.

Again? It was down last week for the same issue but came back up later. Alex Lee is the guy to ask as that's his site.

The site was put into "maintenance mode" on Sat Sept 19 due to "bot
abuse". The site was restored to normal on the following Monday.

Apologies for the down time. The site was restored correctly over HTTPS
but not HTTP. I have rectified that.

Certificate expired.

"Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a
set time period. The certificate for www.whatisthe2gs.apple2.org.za
expired on 10/25/2019.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE"

Okay, let me explain myself - I want to find out if the certificate to a certain website has been expired. I found two email addresses to contact people affiliated with the website, one that I had gotten no reply, and the other bounced back. Apparently, it hasn't been updated since 2013. Mind you, this is not an Apple // website.

Nirsoft or SysInternals (not sure which) has a program to check certificates.
