I know very little about the Atari home computers but have the chance
to get one cheap. I would like to know whether the serial port that
it has can be easily configured so that one can hook up a terminal to
it. Also with the serial line is it easy to download stuff; what about
a modem connection to the serial line? I have seen a advertisement where
they hang a disk drive, printer and something else off a black box
(their serial interface I assume) which is connected to the serial line.
Would this interface be required if I only want to hook up one item,
say the terminal?
thanks, Brad Hemminger
