I bought the cassette Zaxxon for the Atari - I also did not
see a disk version, and when I asked about it, the salesman
told me that the reason the disk wasn't available was that
the disk version was going to be a larger, more complex one
and wasn't ready yet. The cassette version is very good, but
does seem simpler in some respects than the Colecovision
game. Anyone know more? With regard to copying cassette boot
tapes to either tape or disk, there was a great program to
do that published in the Feb/Mar Antic, called "CBOOTMGR".
They said it was only good for copying single-stage boot
tapes, but I have found it works fine on multi-stage boots;
it just then becomes a multi-stage process. I have rewritten
the cassette read portion of this program entirely in machine
code and use it to read in and disassemble any boot tape
with the Editor/Assembler cartridge.
