Does ProDOS not poll the 3.5 drives like GS/OS. — seems polling 3.5 drives on 12v rail causes noise through speaker.

How about using powered speaker from the headphone port and turning off the power when sound is not required or even a sound card from Reactive Micro with powered speakers and turning off when sound not required.

Does high low 12 volt noise interfere with game music and sound? How about playing music from say NinjaTracker or Synthlab.

Has anyone written software to toggle Drive polling on and off?
