We've integrated a Mockingboard tracker into our microM8 Apple II emulator and it's been released into the wild. You can write Mockingboard songs and then export them in a binary format that can be played back on (most) real hardware (there's apparently a ROM bug in some models of II+ and early IIe that we haven't quite worked around yet, but that will be fixed soon).

You can also use the player to play back individual segments of a song (called patterns) which could be useful for fanfares and sound effects in games..

There's a longer post, along with links to documentation and a demo disk at https://paleotronic.com/2019/01/07/microm8-update-introducin g-microtracker/

Thanks everyone who helped out with testing our Mockingboard player!
