This may be a bit weird. Dunno what else I'm going to need to get it
going, but I just bought a Mac LC (1) that the seller assures boots well
enough to get to the Finder, but doesn't have a keyboard or mouse.

Well, I *have* a keyboard and a mouse, though I can't find where my Apple
mouse is (with a lot of moving stuff around, and then just recently
cleaning up, I can barely find anything now). So there's a good chance I
can get this thing working.

The big trick is going to be getting running the one thing I got the thing
for in the first place... ;)

Well, this *is* comp.sys.apple2, so it should be pretty obvious what my
goal is... and it has to do with the two emulator cards I got in dead
Macs. ;)

Heh, it'd be nice to have an actual /// (or rather ///+)... but I don't
think an LC is fast enough for Sara.

I *really* want an Apple ///. In fact, I would trade my Amiga 1200 for one. :-)

But that may not be a fair trade...I think A3's are more costly than stock 1200's.

Have you asked in the retro computing group on Google+? They have a lot of posts about Amigas.

No. Mainly because it would be a hard deal to broker through the mail. I would be afraid of sending the Amiga to someone only to find out it was a scam. Or, receiving the A3 and then my Amiga getting lost in the mail.

And finding someone local with an A3 who is willing to trade is a long shot.

Ah, okay. I can relate. Someone wanted my Franklin Ace 500 and I told him he could have it for shipping. I mailed it out, and never heard from him again.
