Link Apples to Ethernet

En-Link is marketing an Ethernet interface for the Apple II that will permit
Apple owners to use the local-area network by adding a single circuit board
to a vacant card slot in the machine. The interface allows the computer to
perform independently, as well as use the file storage or printing
facilities of the network along with other computers.

Features of the interface board include 8K of RAM data buffer,
software-controlled interrupt modes and a program for file transfer. The
interface is available now from En-Link for $1,250.

En-Link, 4706 Bond, Shawnee, KS 66203; (913) 268-6066

Yeah! I'm also interested to know what the file transfer program was like,
and what protocol it used.

Since you didn't post a internet link, I take it you were looking at the real magazine (advertisement)!
