Somehow i missed posting this earlier.

Tokyo Tarareba Girls by Akiko Higashimura
Genres: josie, romance, drama, comedy, ecchi

Well this is about unmarried women over 30 in Tokyo.
The heroine attempts by the end of volume 1 to change some
of her bad habits like drinking too much too late in the day.
Tarareba means "what if" girls and they are so named by
the male lead, a classic bishonen. By the way we have
real life bishonen here in the USA. I met one the other
day who had just turned 21(the son of a friend) and he
looked so much like the male lead in the manga I was
struck by it.
This book runs to ~175 pages, published by Kodansha
Comics at $13.99 US/$16.99 Canadian.
Higashimura is most notably to manga buyers in the
USA for the Princess Jellyfish series which was made into an
overly compressed anime.
As for discerning online readers, we were convinced of
her value in the "KAKUKAKU SHIKAJIKA" Manga where she
relates some of her training and her drift away from what
her teacher taught her.

Hilarity and a bit of ecchi-ness ensue as she attempts
to become worthy of love and a lover appears from an
unlikely quarter of the the story at the end of the
volume 1.

Well I bought this at the local Kinokinya manga
shop in Nihon Macchi around the corner of Webster and Geary
in San Francisco. Since then I have acquired the 2nd and
third volumes from The Right Stuff International which I
must say are very dense. This offers the young women
a chance to make similar mistakes in choice of partners.
As in all the good(attractive) men are married sort of
mistake.

You might want to get this for a girl friend
who enjoys josei(ladies) manga or just tell her about
it.
