Hiya everyone!

So I'm CaptainBreakout, my continuing mission is to release every hetherto un-typed-in Apple ][ game that's appeared in (but not limited to) Compute! and Compute's Apple Applications magazine in the 1980's.

Many of these games have been found on various and sundry DSK images on Asimov and the deep areas of the Apple ][ friendly web, but they remain rough and obscure, and some are nowhere to be found. Until presently.

So please check out the thread about this on AtariAge. If you are at all interested in Compute Type-In games, this is for you. My goal is to have a quality DSK image with title screen (from the magazine) and instructions preserved for everyone. There's about 5 stand-alone DSK images so far and a couple large compilations. This is an on-going project, and help is always appreciated.

If interested, feel free to respond here or in the thread.

Best,
Dan aka CaptainBreakout

What? Is no one here nostalgic for spending hours doing data entry to see the picture of a pumpkin and "Happy Halloween" with a slightly off-key song playing??

Will these be uploaded to Asimov (or another long-serving archive) as well? Not that I imagine the AtariAge forums are shutting down anytime soon, but I just know it would make *me* feel more secure... :)
