From a marketing perspective for a BBS, that's cool. For the game, I believe Facebook and Twitter offer a bigger audience.

Time will tell,

On the one hand I am with you Antoine.
But on the other hand please take a look from this point: The Bulletin Board Systems are a very important part of the Apple II history. For all of us who keep the Apple II alive it is important to preserve software and to take part in new developments for this awesome computer.
So I also believe that it is very important to preserve the BBS culture on and with our Apple II's. And it is great that we can use WiModems to keep the BBS's alive by running and using them - not only the software in an archive.
The BBS was the base for the internet, but the internet killed most of the BBS's. To offer a specific exclusive content on a BBS is a way to keep it alive. We don't need to help facebook staying alive - we need to help our Apple II BBS's to be alive and a living part of our time - here and now. So if there is the one or other content exclusive on an Apple II BBS - that's great! That makes these systems important. This makes facebook for a little moment unnecessary. This makes the Apple II winning again! This fulfills my heart with hope and pride :).

Yes, I'm sure that's the plan when it's time for the Kickstarter reboot!
