ADTPro 2.0.3 has been released. It's not much more than a collection of
bug fixes this time around, but I got some really helpful help(!) from
several people:

John Clark - helped with figuring out how to de-nanny the App icon in MacOSX

Henry Courbis - generously donated a MicroDrive/Turbo for help in
diagnosing a really edge-casey problem with the GS, the Uthernet, and
the MD/T (you should buy one of these things just because they /haul/)

John Brooks - because his ProDOS (2.4.2 this time around) rules

See: http://adtpro.com

Full release notes:

November 14, 2018

New functionality:

* Integrated John Clark's compilation of RXTX libraries for the
Raspberry Pi: https://github.com/inindev/raspberry-pi-rxtxlib

Bug fixes/changes:

* First release on GitHub, includes some code reorganization
* [OSX Server] Worked around the Apple nanny state - the OSX
application icon now works again on OSX 10.11+ thanks to the
diligence of John Clark
* Integrated John Brooks' ProDOS 2.4.2 as base operating system for
all ADTPro actions (Speediboot, text bootstrapping, base disks,
etc.)
* [Ethernet] Worked around an incompatibility between
MicroDrive/Turbo IIgs firmware and Uthernet card scan; addresses
GitHub issue #29
* Integrated DOS ADT 2.41, which includes the following enhancements:
o Leave the final screen up after a disk transfer
o Set default speed to 115.2k

Thank you, David.

I don't understand the link between P8 and ADTPro. Does that mean that your pgm will not run for std disk copy features (send/receive) if P8 2.4.2 is not present?

ADTPro will run on top of any version of P8 (or SOS) that there is. But
the version that I include in the distribution now is 2.4.2. So that
means the 3-1/2" and 5-1/4" disk images that boot into ADTPro have that
version on them, and when you bootstrap an Apple II over serial or
audio, that's the version that is pushed.

Thank you, David, for the explanation.
As I still use 2.0.3, I was afraid of being obliged to upgrade, that is not the case.

Cheers,
Antoine

That is strange. I wonder why it didn't fix it. Is it JAVA? I guess it is not like using Notepad or Wordpad. Do you have to recompose (reshoot the picture of) the text first, maybe? I'm not seeing the last letter or two of the three longest lines in the text. I hope that helps.

[Sorry about the shouting. My caps-lock key got stuck when I was first writing it, but not later when I added the "About ADTPro" in the sentence.]

I'm not a Canadian. I'm a Californian.

Just some light-hearted humor, admittedly at your expense, James. It's
all about the subtlety and ambiguity of language and human interaction
that seem to perpetually escape your notice, plus the fact that you were
SHOUTING.

But seriously - can you tell me something about how you came across this
problem? What operating system do you use? What is your screen
resolution? Do you do something weird like set your font size to be
150% because (like me) you have failing eyesight?

I am using a Lenovo Desktop computer (purchased in 2010) running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. My video resolution is, "Color: 32 Bpp, 1440 x 900, Landscape" and my "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display" is set to "Custom: 104%" (to match up to real distances across the screen {1-inch on screen equals 1-inch on a ruler}). "Active Window" font is Tahoma and its text size is 12; "Message Box" font is Tahoma and its text size is 10.

I tried to send you the original message above with a screen shot, but your email return address is phony, so it did not get through. Send me your real email address and I will send you the screen shot.

I'd rather not go that route. Please open an issue on GitHub:
