I won! Awesome tech. The music choices made me laugh.
I like that vertical curtain you put in on the stages scroll. It made me think (correctly) that I was about to win.
The game mechanic is interesting. My comment on the level set you've got in now is that I felt it took too long to introduce the red squares. The first X levels are probably too similar; my sense was I had learnt what I needed to learn in two levels, maybe three tops.
Cool game overall. Good work.

It doesn't have the 'best' possible on an APPLE II, that honor goes to Michael Mahon but this version is designed to multi-task along with other game code and is fairly adaptable to game engines.
The DogFigher of Mars II game (if you haven't seen it) also uses the tech (although it was a bit wonky on the GS which the issues are now corrected).... we have several games in the works that will utilize it.
Pyramid Of Ra was a short game to show that Naspite is still devoted to gaming, but lately we have been working on a lot of 'driver' things. I'm glad you and Egan liked it... watch out for our future games T-REX and River-Raid!

I took the first 13 levels directly from the Gameboy game... and was the inspiration. I ran out of diskspace (because of the audio) so I had to stop, but I am open to doing another disk with levels 14 thru 25 (or whatever) and pop in some new sound tracks... might be a few months before that happens, working on other things!

Agreed. I got a bit fatigued after level 7, however the music keep me
going.

Never heard of it (not much of a gamer), I'll have to check it out.

Perhaps "The Tombs of Ra" on the B side. :-) And much harder.
