Indeed, especially the fan-fold paper tape and the DECTape, which
I remember programming back in the early 70s, go back 3 blocks
and then run up past at full speed IN EITHER DIRECTION.

The lab where I was considered the DEC maintenance contract to
be excessively pricey, so we had to trace faults our selves, but
it was a brown trouser job when I dropped a screwdriver onto the
wire wraps of the DECTape! :-(
