I found this aticle about streaming sites
(http://yattatachi.com/legal-anime-streaming-sites) most of them are
free, some of them have paid options as well though (the prices might
have gone up since this article was written. I did a quick check of the
ones available in the US (at least the ones I do not regularly watch,
anyway, as those I watch often enough not to need to do a "quick
check"). Ones available in other countries I will not comment on, to
see what the author of this article says about them. That article also
has links to the various services, so if you want to give them a "quick
check," to either look at their content or check their pricing, you can.

Crunchyroll: I happen to like crunchyroll. It has several titles that
I like: Your lie in April, Usagi drop - perhaps the best anime made in
recent years, Silver spoon - at least certain episodes of it, etc.

Amazon Video: I currently don't have Amazon Prime, but when I did, I
think I went there more often to watch either Voyager or Deep Space Nine
than anime.

Funimation: Lotsa good titles here, and even more if you have a
subscription

VRV: Links back to both Funimation and Crucnchyroll, and I think the
current "VRV plan" links back to some other providers as well, but the
only one I am really interested in Rooster Teeth, and even that would
pretty much be for the show RWBY.

HIDIVE: Only took a quick look and most of the titles I clicked on said
that that show was only available to subscribers, so I don't know how
much free content is on there, if there is any indeed. The article in
the link says there is, but perhaps that has changed in the past 2 years.

Viewster: A pretty decent assortment of titles, but since they took
down Maria-Sama ga Miteru, there just aren't any I am interested in
watching.

ConTV: This article gives the number of anime titles, at least as the
time it was written, as "10+," pretty much meaning that it has more than
10 titles, but less than 20, so I didn't even give it a "quick look,"
even though it is in the US.

Hulu: I have not watched HULU since they ended their free option
several years ago, but it appears that much of their content, at least
animated content is available through Anime-Planet (next entry in this
list) and Yahooo View (a few entries down in this list.

Anime-Planet: I clicked on several "random tiles" here, and they either
link back to HULU or Crunchyroll. The site says it also links back to
Viewster, shich it no doubt does, but none of "random" titles I clicked
on linked back to Viewster.

Tubi TV: This is one I don't go to regularly, in fact I never even heard
of it until I found this article, and the only title I saw in my "quick
check" that I am interested in is Maria-Sama ga Miteru.

Yahoo View: I go here quite often, and I decided to rewatch the series
Claymore, since one of my favorite genres (or sub-genre or setting, I am
not sure which is the correct literary term) is anime set in the US
(Kaleido Star, Chrono Crusade, etc.), Europe (Victorian Romance Emma,
Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth, etc.), or Psueudo-Europe (FMA, Izetta
the Last Witch, etc.), and Claymore appears to be set in Pseudo-Europe.
As I said above, it is link back to HULU.

YouTube: Perhaps there is more content available through their paid
service (YouTube red, I believe), but my favorite channel, at least as
far as anmie goes, is the Nozomi Entertainment channel. It has:
Princess Nine, my favorite sports anime, although I think in the dub,
they pronounce "Kanako" wrong; Victorian Romance Emma, set in Europe;
the "Please" franchise, hey I like them. As an aside, I am a bit
conflicted about the English-dubbed version being my favorite, since the
reason that it is my favorite is that Hillary Haag is my favorite anime
dub-girl, but by far my favorite character in that show, perhaps even
close to my favorite female character in anime, is Izumi.

Netflix: Too damn cheap to have netflix. I think if they had M*A*S*H,
I might consider it, I believe they had the physical DVD's when that was
part of their business, I do not know if the have it streaming.

[adult swim]" I went to this site a few months back to see what they had
on adult swim to kinda compare it to what they had when I had cable, but
I don't think I have watched much if any streaming anime there.

Crackle: I do not go there much anymore, there used to be a title on
that site that I quite enjoyed, but it does not seem to be there anymore.

Anibee: "Anime Titles Available: 2+," "Regions Available: Singapore,
Indonesia & Possibly worldwide?." I did not even bother taking a "quick
look" to see if I am in the "possible world."

Anime Bananas: Gave me an error message when I tried to follow the link
in the article, so perhaps they have gone out of business or moved their
website.

The E-mail associated with the account is a "spamcatcher" account that I
got to every couple of months to empty out, and anything sent to it will
not be seen for probably several months, if it is seen at all.

Thanks for the article Brian.
It inspired me to test my streaming capabilities and find some
matters of interest to me. I may even watch some anime with my old
computers newly realized capabilities. Sadly though I am limited in
the amount of time I can remain seated these days so whatever I watch
it had be be worth the time.
Thanks for the article, Brian.

Crunchyroll and HIDIVE and Netflix are definitely available in the UK.
In a way the diversity is a setback, as one would have to take out
several subscriptions to check all the available shows.

Thank you Brian.

I would like to know if some paid streaming service (in USA) is
better than others.

Regarding Netflix, I have 40-some DVDs in queue (anime mixed with
others) after which I will cancel the account. My issue is that it does not
seem to be acquiring anime that I would be interested in watching; focus
seems to be live action, and perhaps popular US cartoon things.
Moreover, sometimes discs for a series would be no longer available,
which just causes frustration more than a series missing entirely.

For a limited time when I had streaming account 7-8 years ago, there was not
much selection either.
