Hello, everyone!
This is a real long shot in the dark, but my Grandfather sold a Glass Macintosh Logo Sign from the early '80s that was used as a display item to help sell the Macs of that time. He sold it on eBay about 15 years ago, and did not include the fluorescent light base with it at the time because he couldn't find it. I have since found it and I'm wondering if the buyer is also a member of this group somehow. Or if maybe we can start sharing it on Facebook or other social media and see what happens. It was the Macintosh logo done in the "Picasso" style. I just have the base right now, and those signs are selling for around $1,000-$1,200 if the listings are to be believed on eBay. Unfortunately, he has passed away and I believe his eBay account has been deactivated, so I'm not sure how to find the other half of this sign to reunite the pieces. Any help and/or thoughts you guys can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are neon repair shops, friend of mine runs one in Albuquerque and he could figure out the ballast you need. He repaired this one for me, it had a broken tube and failed ballast. Nicely mounted on plexiglass. Not sure we got the official colors right though. It’s in my dining room across from the other tribute to life’s staple...

I actually bought one of these years ago (on eBay I think), so it’s possible I’m the buyer from the original post. I didn’t get the base with it, so I designed and had a friend of mine build with me a frame with LED lights built into the base. It’s been on my wall for well over 10 years. Here’s a picture.
