“Beatless” is a sci-fi anime based upon a novel and a manga.. In some rather mundane and boring future an ordinary teen is saved by a super android girl from another super android girl. The “good” android girl then contracts herself out to the teen and the teen brings the android girl home to meet his little sister.

Now, imagine taking that mundane and overused premise and producing an anime that is even more mundane and brain-dead than the premise sounds. “Brainless” has done that. You have painfully stupid plotting, paired with incredibly cringe-worthy dialog that is presented by voice actors who act as if they are talking in their sleep. Most kid's toy-selling anime do a better and smoother job of introducing their toys than this mess did with its story. Add to the mix a gag-inducing Little Sister and you've got something that is too horrific to imagine. Stay far, far away.

My final rating is “D” and I never want to think about this travesty again.
