I have a friend who has a handicap that makes pressing
and holding of the shift key and then pressing another key
very difficult. I know of programs for the IBM-PC that can
make the shift key act like a toggle - press shift on/press
shift off. Does anyone know of a program for the MODEL 1
that does the same thing?

Thanks, you help is appreciated.

Tell your friend to get a copy of the LDOS operating system
for his Model I. (Assuming he has a disk drive setup). LDOS has a
keyboard driver program (KI/DVR) that will allow him to have the
standard upper/lower case mode and then use the 'shift 0' as a caps
lock mode.
LDOS can be purchased at your local Radio Shack Computer Cntr.
or directly from Logical Systems Inc.
The price = $69.00 ...I also believe they offer a stripped down
version called 'smal-DOS" for $39.00 or there abouts.
	For more info contact Logical Systems Inc. at;

		8970 N. 55th Street
		P.O. Box 23956
		Milwaukee, WI. 53223

Hope this was a some help !!!!!!!!!
