I am, but more importantly, I am not seeing 0x90 for the key down, and 0x80 for
the key up for keyboard presses. As such, the MIDI SW is not outputting any
sound.

Last weekend, I was disgusted with the old PC I keep around for such
things, as it would not send out MIDI on the MIDI port, so I (in true
hacker fashion) hacked up the bench project (PS2Encoder) at hand to pipe
data to the MID cart. MIDI is mostly RS232, so things were not tough.
I sent a bunch of commands to the cart and managed to get sounds from
the VIC-20. Since I knew the cart worked, I tested it on my wife's
Yamaha KBand it was ailing. Giving the information to Leif, he was able
to reproduce the issue on his end, and is preparing a codefix.
The unit somewhat interesting, because it has a programmable FLASH IC on
board, which means it can double as a game cart as well :-) Right now,
it just holds the MIDI SW.
But, I still want to test it with a 64 MIDI cart, since it's MIDI
command optimizations that are tripping things up.

Jim & Others,
I just mailed out the Sonus MIDI interface. Jim, With a little luck you
should have it by Wednesday. I included a pair of MIDI cables just in
case they were needed. There's also a copy of Score Track on floppy. I
make some time to scan a copy of the manual (I only own one) this week.

Did Dr. Evil Labs make a MIDI interface or are you confusing it with a
