I am offering for sale a moderately priced 'make' utility for IBM PC's
and compatibles.  It is a much expanded version of my previous program
(which you may have seen) and is *very* close to the original UNIX
version.  If you would like more information, please contact me at one
of the addresses below.

I believe that the preceeding is an acceptable form of product
announcement, based on discussions I have seen previously on the net.
If you have any objections, please send me mail.

BTW - the results of the "is John a jerk" poll of a couple of months
ago were "inconclusive" - I got about 7 or 8 votes each way.
