My wife and I just finished and thoroughly enjoyed STARTIDE RISING
by David Brin. However, he left an enormous number of interesting and
crucial items unresolved. For example, (not giving anything away here)
who was "Herbie" and the fleet that was found. What happened in the
chapter following the end of the book (obviously never written --yet--
but the story line begs for a resolution to the situation at the ending)?

If Brin is on the net, or if anyone knows him, please suggest to him
a sequel to STARTIDE RISING. He left himself enough meat for a good one.
