How can there POSSIBLY be no object-library maintenance utility for the
IBM PC? That's the assertion of our local PC guru. My LINK lines are growing
long with multiple file names, and each source file is as long as my
patience can stand compiling, and I'd greatly appreciate tips on how to
get out of this hole!

There *is* an MS-DOS library utility. IBM just doesn't release it! I have
read of other CPU manufactures (HEATH?) that include it (along with an
assembler) with their copies of DOS. Microsoft also provides one with
their C compiler package.

Speaking of object libraries, does anyone out there have any good
information as to the Microsoft object-file format? I am trying to
create some of my own archive routines, etc, and need this information
badly.

	Thanks in advance,
