Does Space Ghost Coast to Coast count, since it predated Adult Swim?
If it does it'd be on the "Top" list.

I won't post my top and bottom lists, I'll just give my thoughts on
Jackie Chan's list:

Best - Totally agree with Venture Bros and Metalocalypse. I personally
don't care for ATHF, but you could definitely make a case, because it
is essentially the iconic Adult Swim show. Frisky Dingo, I dunno; I
didn't care for it, and I don't think it's one of their best.

Worst - Disagree with Birdman completely, that show is great. Never
seen Superjail. Could not agree more with Moral Orel and Tim & Eric,
the black holes of comedy. I'd put Moral Orel at the top just because
of how misanthropic and mean-spirited it is.

Robot Chicken would probably be my #2, behind Venture Bros. The
Boondocks also needs to be in there.

5. Everything else. Yes, this includes AHTF. I've never liked that
show.

Top 4

1) Venture Bros.
2) Morel Orel (best when taken in a marathon, there is a definite flow
to it all)
3) Robot Chicken
4) Metallocalypse

Bottom 4

Worst) 12 oz. Mouse
Unwatchable) Squidbillies
Terrible) Drinky the Crow
Just bad) Tim and Eric (which is odd because Tom Goes to the Mayor was
pretty good)

Best:

Tim and Eric
Tom Goes To The Mayor
Squidbillies
Sealab

Worst:

Metallocalypse
Robot Chicken
Drinky Crow
a bunch of their other shows, really too many to name.

And it seems there's a lot of disdain for 12 Oz Mouse... I didn't like
it at first, but into the second season, I started to realize how
brilliant it was.

Yes, and ... ?

No analysis? No commentary? Just a dump of somebody else's list? (And
off-topic for rec.arts.anime.misc, too, since none of these are
Japanese.)

Why bother even making the post, if you aren't going to add something of
your own to it?

OK, then I will. I will even attempt to bring it back on topic.

Pretty much all the shows on this list (from the "brain trust" of
Williams Street, I think), with the exception of Venture Brothers, and
Boondocks, suck beyond belief, or at least I do not really like them.

AS needs to go back to all, or at least mostly all anime like it used to
be. In fact, I think all of CN should do that.

At the very least, AS needs some new anime titles.

Instead of attacking telling me how I should conduct my posts (as if
I'm INVADING your turf), why don't you actually do something more
useful like actually adding your own list and anaylsts. I don't watch
Adult Swim 100% of the time by the way, this thread id purely "food
for thought"! And what, are you saying that AS hasn't aired anime
programming of some sort!?

But you are invading raam with your trolling
post.
Nothing you mention is anything like what this
Usenet newsgroup is about is about though AS does
feature some late night Japanese-originated anime.

But you are not talking about our interests.

Let me get this straight, at the end of your response, you flat out
acknowledge that AS does feature anime programming, and yet you start
out accusing me of "trolling" and not mentioning anything regarding
whatever this particular newsgroup is about. Do I have to FUCKING
spell things out for you at the very start of my posts!?

Your posting has no relevance to our interests.
I am 74.5 years old but I can still plonk an insulting

However, you failed to provide any of that thought. Again: Why bother

No, I'm saying that none of the shows on your list are anime. You said
that yourself.

You were trolling, because not one of the things you mentioned were anime,
and anime just like it says in the title is what this particular group among
all the ones you spammed this to is about. But rest assured you don't have
to spell anything out. You don't have the mental tools to do it, I don't
have the time or patience to suffer through any attempt by you to do it; but
mainly, it's because you've already gone 'plonk'.

(ELL, come home, all is forgiven. Ok, not forgiven, and I don't blame you
being a regular offender myself, but there are times we really need you)

More importantly, exactly why did you x-post this AS-centric
post to a group dedicated to Japanese anime? Judging from
your numerous posts on alt.tv.cartoon-network, you had to have
known that most of the other groups you x-posted this missive to
would be more appropriate than a group dedicated to anime.

It would have resulted in less hurt feelings if you had simply
apologized and eliminated rec.arts.anime.misc from the list.
Perhaps you weren't trolling when you made your initial x-post,
and simply thought that people here would be interested in
this poll.

But continuing to battle over the issue won't resolve anything
and in fact, just makes things worse.

I'm not going to apologize when I didn't do anything specifically out

Why post it to alt.tv.family-guy when Family Guy isn't an Adult Swim
original?

I did, and he sent me a follow up to my listed address on here (actually a
spam trap one, intentionally set for this sort of thing). The usual sort of
troll spewing, using descriptions of himself to call names, etc. I
forwarded it to abuse@gmail.com, so look for him to be back in a few days
with some other address, folks.

Why don't you behave like someone who is older than 10? Ms. Sellers has
earned a modicum of respect just for her age. You however have earned
not one whit of respect with your boorish behavior.

That is ok Inu-Yasha-tono.
I don see his kerfuffle until someone quotes him,
If his RL behavior is the same as online he won´t
be around to trouble anyone long.
