Someone on the net once posted a favorable review of French Silk,
especially their book "Inside the C64". French Silk now sells this
book separately from their assembler for $20. How good is this book?
Does it contain info not available elsewhere?

A number of people have sent me mail claiming that the Programmers Reference
Manual has all the info you need, but this is just not so.

Here is my personal benchmark for complete c64 documentation:
There are about a half dozen zero page locations listed
in the memory map associated with the cursor location on
the screen. Some seem redundant, others simply absurd.
Which are used by the Kernal Routines?
Are some of these locations used when inputing a char from screen?
Are some altered when outputing a char to the screen?

Does anyone know of documentation that answers this level of question? And
please, don't claim that the PRM contains with info without backing it up
with page numbers. I have read that book.
