I have just learned that Tony Diaz has very recently passed away. Rest in Peace Tony.🤕

Really sorry to hear this. He was young, only 54. May he rest in peace.

I'm just, shocked.... and extremely saddened to hear this news. I never
met Tony in person, but I've known and chatted with him over the past
30 years. I highly respected and valued his knowledge, insight and stories
on the Apple II.

Not even sure how to process this right now. Haven't felt this kind of
gut punching news since Joe Kohn and Ryan Suenaga suddenly passed
away-- two others in the Apple II community I sorely miss. I'll miss Tony.

I met Tony just once, at Kansasfest 2018 (my first). He helped me with a Disk II repair during a disk drive clinic - I think he was the facilitator as it was an area he knew a lot about. The community has lost one of its more colorful characters. RIP Tony.
