For those of you reading this in Fidonet the gateway was not picking them
up as spam and pulling the posts across from NNTP in to the CBM echomail
area.

Apologies for that. I have tried to tighten up on gateway filtering to
reduce future likelihood. That said it's a bit like playing whack a mole.

Are you an admin? I don't know how you otherwise can prevent spam. Not
seeing much spam anyway.

And of these I come across I'm going to send the Liberator after. ORAC is
going to teach them. ;-)

well I run the fidonet <> usenet gateway... so there's some leavers I can
pull there... I agree, generally it's not been too bad in the past.

An admin of what? I'm an admin of the whole Big-8 (which includes this
group) and even we can't do much about spam.

Tristan

Just pull the gateway. The Fidonet posters to here
have zero idea of how to write a message, and just
get off on interacting with everyone.
