Dear alt.folklore.computers,
So in the hope this is not too off topic, I remember reading recently-
ish about a company who implemented their internal tool (maybe a level
editor for a game) on top of browsers; but they had to backtrack and go
back to native applications. One of the reasons, IIRC, was that browser
updates, notably Chrome, would introduce incompatibilities and break the
application.
My web-search-fu is not strong enough to find this article or blog. Is
there someone here who has also come across it?
