Ishikawa-san, I just noticed that you didn't list "Ueno-san wa Bukiyou". Have you seen it, and if you have, what are your thoughts on it?

Thanks again -

I've been out for a while and I didn't have any chance to respond to
your post.

I'm still watching "Mobu Psycho 100 II". In Japan, cheat spiritual
business appeares time after time. So, this anime is a parody of
actual criminal cases. I don't know whether you have similar kind of
crime in your country. Maybe Japanese are still caught in the old
superstitious view of the world. Or, it's just proving that the
human's intelligence isn't strong enough to know The Truth as Kant
suggested. Are you believe in the existence of UFO?

I watched the first episode of "Ueno-san wa Bukiyou", but it wasn't
my cup of tea. There are some other short anime in this season.
I passed most of them. I like "Toji no Miko", but its spinoff "Mini
Toji" doesn't make sense.

This season's anime I'm still watching are:
Dororo, Mobu Psycho II, Tate no Yuusha, Yakusoku no Neverland,
Kouya no Kotobuki Hikou-tai and Piano no Mori 2.

I'm very disappointed by the animation quality of "Piano no Mori 2".
It looks awful.

I'm a scientist by training and by "character", so spiritualism, ufoism and so on don't appeal to me, and most people in my circle of friends and acquaintances aren't into those things either. But I'm aware that a lot of people here are into holistic and alternative medicines and the like, so it wouldn't surprise me that many of the same people would also be interested spiritualism here.

I haven't watched either Piano no Mori series so I can't comment on the quality.

Thanks -

"No" is the answer that I expected from you.

When I was an IT engineer, my colleague said that there must be our
neighbor in another star because the physical law is same anywhere
in the universe. My answer was that if so, a civilization can't
last long enough to meet others. I don't believe in UFO = alian's
spaceship only because I don't know any solid evidence to support
the observation. SETI is a serious scientific project to find another
star's civilization. But I'm skeptic about the success of the project
because of my former opinion.

Anyway, I enjoy the cynicism of "Mobu Psycho". It often happens.

Strictly, as of now SETI is only about finding the type of signal that
may be indicative of artificial origin. Even if they find such a
signal, the difficult bit (trying to deduce whether the signal was,
indeed, of artificial origin) will begin.
