I have posted about this before, but every once in a while I mess around
with Inkscape and Synfig Studio. Usually, I just work on some speceific
aspect like skeletons or rotation layers or whatever, not on a cohesive
project. Well, I suppose I have worked on a cohesive project enough to
have completed a sort of music video.
I put it on my facebook timeline, and if I shared it properly, this
should be it:
https://www.facebook.com/brian.christiansen.3304/videos/4064 35369856630/UzpfSTEwMDAxNDcwNTEwMjEwMTo0MDg5MzE3NTk2MDY5OTE/
First I guess I need to know if I did share it properly, I think I
shared it properly so that anyone, not just my facebook friends can see it.
These are the inspirations for my band members as I am not that sure if
they are good enough renditions for it to be "obvious" who they are
inspired by:
Lead guitarist: Erica from Strike Witches
Flying bassist: Lynette from Strike Witches
Keyboards: Francesca from Strike Witches
Guest drummer: Sailor Mercury
I don't want to claim that they are exact reproductions of those
characters, because I don't think they are, just moderately decent (I
hope) fan art. I hope the reason why I chose the characters that I did
is made some what clear when the title of the musical piece I used comes
up. I made sailor mercury the guest drummer, because she is my favorite
sailor senshi (the "smart one" is almost always my favorite in magical
girl groups).
These are a few Ideas I wrote down for improving it that I would not
mind some commentary on, assuming I p0osted it correctly:
1. Move feet of each band member so they are at the same level.
2. Eyes on sailor mercury. Because of a difference in how Synfig Studio
and Inkscape read *.svg files, the eyes on several of my characters did
not transfer from inkscape to synfig studio. On most of my band
members, I either drew them in or I figured out how to get them to
transfer from inkscape to synfig studio. I have not done this for
sailor mercury because I am trying to decide if she "looks cooler"
without the eyes drawn in or if it is better to draw in her eyes.
3. Joints. I really do not mind that the joints look "marionettish,"
(though I think I can at least partially "fix" that if it is really to
distracting) but I think some of them are not quite lined up properly,
especially on the guest drummer, Sailor Moon.
4. Put tennis shoes on the keybardist, and have them change colors to
match the color of the jacket. My purpose for this band member was to
have the jacket and hair change through different colors, and that is
why there is no motion in this character.
5. Currently, the background is white. I am considering seeing if I can
find a non copyrighted picture of a stage (or try my hand at actually
drawing one) and putting it behind the band members to make it look like
they are on a stage, or perhaps in a stadium of some kind.
6. The creative commons "sign" at the end of my AMV is up for over 15
seconds, I think which is way too long. I think it should be reduced to
less than 5, or perhaps even 2 seconds.
I have drawn another strip for my yonkoma, I just have not put it up to
my Flickr account yet. I think I will post it sometime soon.

The E-mail associated with the account is a "spamcatcher" account that I
got to every couple of months to empty out, and anything sent to it will
not be seen for probably several months, if it is seen at all.

Uhh...I can't quite figure out why:
It does not in any way address my initial question about whether the
address I posted works and if someone other than me. I can follow it
just fine, but that is because I can pretty much access anything on my
facebook timeline, but I don't know if I set the permissions so other
people can.
It says nothing about animation in general, using synfig studio to
animate, or the specific questions I had.
Even if google translate translated the initial article linked to
completely incorrectly, which I did not think it did, as far as I can
tell it started with a traced image before manipulating with the smart
phone apps.
Or are you implying that I should trace my fan art because it is "so
bad," I need to trace it instead of drawing it. How exactly does it
address any of the questions I asked?

Sorry I raised the issue since you are taking it in such a negative manner.

I don't think I am taking it in a "negative" manner. I simply fail to
see how the thread referred to has any relevance to to either my using
Synfig studio to attempt animation or using Inkscape to draw fan art.
Please explain how it will do either of those things.
