Proving yet again that they have absolutely no idea, Disney has put the
spin-off Star Wars movies on hold to concentrate on the last
(thankfully!!) of JarJar Abrams' awful Trilogy. The problem is NOT the
silly buzzword of "franchise fatique". The problem is that JarJar
Abrams' is a talentless hack. The standalone movies, even with their
"Politically Correct" silliness, were much better than Abram's moronic
knock-off "reboots" of the originals. :-(

Star Wars Story Spinoffs ON HOLD
--------------------------------
From Collider.com:
BREAKING NEWS: Collider.com is exclusively reporting
that Disney and Lucasfilm have paused pre-production
on the Obi-Wan Kenobi spinoff in order to focus on
J.J. Abrams' Episode IX and the next series of Star
Wars films, be it Rian Johnson's trilogy or new movies
from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B.
Weiss. This comes on the heels of the disappointing
box office performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story,
which was released in May in the middle of a crowded
summer movie season, rather than in December. Solo
arrived six months after The Last Jedi, and Lucasfilm
needs to keep Star Wars movies feeling like can't-miss
events. Lucasfilm's development process is notoriously
mysterious, so this is simply a snapshot of where
things stand right now in the Star Wars universe.
Steve Weintraub and Jeff Sneider offer their thoughts on this
breaking news and explore what it will mean for the Star Wars
franchise.
