It's the weekend so all those who abuse their employer's
computers to post here are absent.

Oh, you weren't invited to the meeting?
We all got together and decided more time must pass before
any more subjects become folklore.

google groups afc gets feed directly from usenet distribution and
there are few there also

past couple days I've been having fun in IBM Retirees social
media groups. One of the topics

IBM is 21st Century proof that Milton Friedman was wrong. See what some
great industrialists believed. University of California, Berkeley, Haas

it wasn't my original statement ... by author of (also recommending book
before upcoming IBM stockholders meeting).

However, some number of IBM retirees objected to besmirching Friedman's
good name.

I was glad to bring up Kahneman (psychologist)

A few hours ago, I could read ET but posting failed. If you see this,
it's fixed.

How the time fly. A correspondent on another group, in her 80s & thus,
as am I, in the elder "don't do Facebook" generation reported asking
her granddaughter about FB. The reply was, "Facebook is for geezers.
We have something else."

Classic Gareth. I can only presume that people are ignoring him in afc now
they're more familiar with his MO. Shame he hasn't got the gumption for
more subtle trolling than this, though.

I thought that was Twitter. Not that you should go long on its paper
as it seems to be in even more disarray due to being a channel of
exfoliating mis-, dis- and mal-information. With its (IIUC)
expanded char limit, perhaps it no longer qualifies as a medium
limited to stichomythia but it's perfect for those with teeny-weenie
attention spans and limited vocabulary.

You are unfairly targeting my hero, El Donaldo?

(maybe that will spur messages)

Was this the 5 minute, the half hour argument, or the Masochism Tango?

Definately the Masochism Foxtrot. Its like in a pub, start the
argument, slip away in case the police check for the reason for the
Assault.

Hey, whaddcha mean, "What is a Foxtrot?"

Not all messages are created equal.
That subject? I think I've had enough of that.

If there was any justice in this world we'd be looking
at the MOAI.

That's when our favourite right-wing media outlet gets an unusually
bad case of diarrhea. Or is that "FOX Trots"?

mausg seems to have plenty of fellow admirers of El Donaldo:

Bash in my brain,
And make me scream with pain,
Then kick me once again,
And say we'll never part.
I know too well I'm underneath your spell,
So, Donald, if you smell
Something burning, it's my heart.

So I'd go for Masochism Tango. Except it doesn't all fit in a twit.
