Hi All,

My circumstances have changed; I'm no longer able to do Mac repairs & consultant work. And I’ve moved to new place, that has no storage space.

Time to dump my Macs (mostly G3 and G4 machines), parts, etc.

Besides LEM Swap and Craigslist, can you recommend good places to sell this stuff?

Thanks,
- Dan.

Other than Fleabay, not really.

It’s not so much for selling, but when you’re down to the stuff you just want gone, try Freecycle https://www.freecycle.org

Founded right here in Tucson :-)

lemswap but not Facebook low end mac which is for displaying finds,
bragging rights.

ebay, of course, for the complete machines, special parts. It's
tedious, but
you might be able to sell some newbus cards and Mac II ethernet adapters
& cards
on ebay as well as lemswap. Hint: sell it cheap on lemswap!

For complete machines, maybe some Thrift stores.

We have a local /*habitat warehouse*/ that claims it will take anything
not sold by thrift stores,
which sell mostly clothes, furniture, kitchenware, TVs, etc. The
*/habitat /**/R/**/estore/*, though, won't take it.

Then not so probable, try local online yard sales. There are quite a
few on Facebook now.

Antique stores?

My port of last resort is to recycle starting with the local computer
store which does recycling
but I bet that they cherry-pick stuff because I see old things for sale
in their store! Then,
that failing, there's the county recycling center which takes almost any
electronics and turns
them over to people who either fix and resell or salvage the pieces and
parts.

If you should find someone who wants to buy and warehouse your lot or
even just take care of it and
pick it up, please let me know and I will do the same for you. I am in
the same situation.

Thanks,

LOL We could build Machenge!

Looks like LEM Swap and eBay are it.

I’m starting to list stuff on LEM Swap, but I’m moderated. So we’ll see...
