For those not following the Apple /// Facebook group, here is a link to my Apple /// SAM speech driver.
It started from an idea to use the Apple /// internal DAC. After a few weeks of spending way to much time disassembling the A2 SAM binaries into workable source code. Then wrapping this with the necessary code to implement it as a SOS driver file.
The disk image and source is available from github here:
https://github.com/robjustice/Apple3SAM
(and some more details on the implementation and the A2 source from the disassembly)
The disk image includes a preloaded SAM driver in the SOS.DRIVER file and the Business Basic Interpreter. All of the BASIC programs provided on the original A2 SAM disk have been converted to business basic and modified to work with the driver.
Let me know if you find any issues and hope you have some fun with it.
/Rob

Interesting! I just added the SAM DAC card to OpenEmulator… https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/openemulator/VekzPFQ csPc :-)
