Finally had a chance to break out an Enhanced //e I bought a few months ago and found that the interface cable for the Duodisk is missing. DB19 connectors are not very common anymore, so does anyone out there have any connectors or a ready-made cable they'd be willing to part with? My //GS is currently awaiting power supply parts and I hope to purchase a Duodisk to go with it as well so will ultimately be looking for 2 cables.

Thanks!

Brian,

You can find Duodisk cables on this site
https://www.ultimateapple2.com/catalogzen154/index.php?main_ page=product_info&cPath=1_16&products_id=103

If you plan to use the Duodisk on the IIGS, be sure to make the recommended
modifications (see
http://mirrors.apple2.org.za/apple2.caltech.edu/miscinfo/duo diskmod).

A few years back I bought a few DB-19 connectors, male and female +
hoods, from here:

http://www.hello-cables.com/db19-connectors.html

I remember their prices being good.

Their website is still going, so if the other suggested options for
Duodisk cables don't pan out, you might consider making your own.

Thanks to both of you for the info. Should have some DB19 connectors arriving soon. Also, since I somehow have 2 DuoDisk units, I'll be looking at mods to 1 for the GS and leave the other one in the normal factory condition.

Regards, Brian.

Don't be surprised if the order for male DB-19 plugs is cancelled due to
the lack of inventory.

Hello Cables offered a substitute on one item and had a couple of pre-made cables available; I should have them in a few days and will probably order a few additional items if these look good. They have 10,000 of the connectors ordered but no expected build date yet.
