Hi folks,

does anyone know the project published in c't magazine issue 1987/06 p.
94 (german one) "Michael Flamm, Rene Schneider: Aufgemotzt C64 mit 4-
MHz-Takt und 16-Bit-CPU"? (extension board which allows a 65816 cpu to
take over the C64 hardware, including a RAM disk, speed-up up to 4
times, some kind of SuperCPU expansion).

A friend of mine is trying to realize this project, did all the hardware
stuff and we going to check it out to get it running. The c't magazine
published under "Heise Verlag" offered several eprom sets with boot and
optional RAM disk software. The listing included in the article is not
complete (in that way it does not include the data portions needed to
patch the kernal).

Has anyone the eprom set (w/o RAM disk) and is willing to provide it? Or
maybe there is place where the content can be downloaded (it would be
marvellous)?

Eproms originally announced as
S870694 Startup-Programm für 65SC816 Karte EPROM 27256
S870695 RAM-Disk Treiber für 65SC816 Karte EPROM 27256
(from the Heise Software Service ad) - just for completeness.

Is onyone around who might help?

On person stated that he had this stuff in former days, but it has been
dumped years ago :(

Does anyone know to original authors Michael Flamm or Rene Schneider?
Are they still in the community? No findings so far via Google or similar.

Hi there,

i did not know this article,
but i am the owner of a 4mhz rossmueller (was (or is) a german
company) expansion board
which speeds up the c64 by 4mhz / (in my case 4mhz
often crashes, but 3.7? mhz (as i remember correct)
which was be usable by a poti (from 0? to 3.7?)
was runnings stable.
the (ore only some) roms i should have somewhere at disk (if its still
readable, at some of the ic's on this borad where removed the labels by
rosmueller.
most famos was, could play "elite" at 3.7mhz AND the sound was
still in original speed.
i still own the hardware, the manual and if disks are not broken,
the (some?) roms which i extracted, because i have take speeddos on
the original eprom.
(there was also a cpm mode, maybe some other stuff, i did not remember)
so if this is from interest for you, give me a email-adress, and a
little time, and i could send something to you.
