I am having a little trouble buying off-the-shelf starched collars for my collarless shirts. http://www.gentlemansemporium.com/store/001571.php They seem to be sold in rather vague sizing and my collar size seems to fall somewhere in the almost 3 inch difference between XL and XXL(?)

I find that I like the starched collar look and my lovely wife has offered to make some but before she starts - are there any other good patterns or tutorials out there?
