Hey all. Does anyone here know of any Roguelike games for the vintage Mac? How about a version of the BASIC programming language?

Thanks.

I played (and still play) quite a lot of Angband. The 68k (and Classic
PPC) Mac versions are a bit out of date but they still are good fun.

http://www.thangorodrim.net/download.html

There should also be a 68k version of Moria kicking around.

As for BASIC, Chipmunk Basic is available as freeware at
http://www.nicholson.com/rhn/basic/basic.info.html with various
versions.

Awesome. The natural intersection is a Roguelike version written in BASIC for the vintage Mac, but that is probably pushing my luck.

Thanks! Chipmunk BASIC looks “fun”.

You can still download MacRogue at:
http://macintoshgarden.org/games/mac-rogue
I played it endlessly back in the 90's.
