      Someone recently told me a rumor about Commodore comming out with
an IBM compatible. I know Commodore has hardware to make itself compatible
with the Apple II+ (I believe it's called SPARTAN). Has anyone out there
on the net heard or read anything similiar to this?

Yes, Commodore is introducing it's PC compatible line to the US
this year.  We have sold them in Europe and Canada for the last
two years, and are now introducing them to the US market.

Comes in two flavors:

	PC10-1: 512K RAM, One Floppy

	PC10-2: 640K RAM, Two Floppies

	Both have serial and parallel ports, 4 empty expansion
	slots and a wonderful little mono/color graphics card.
	Does MDA, CGA, Hercules, Paradise, plus 132 column mode.
	Also emulates color modes in monochrome.  

	Internally expandable for FULL size Hard disk with power
	supply to handle it.  Phoenix Bios for excellent compatibility.

	List price starts at $995.  Available first of December.
	(I hope) through distributers.
