As my posts to the PowerBook list do not seem to be getting through,
I'm posting here.

I'm looking for a reputable source of batteries for a 17-inch
PowerBook G4 (PowerBook 5.7/Model A1107).

Thanks in advance

I've used the NuPower batteries OWC sells in my systems and recommended them for others...only one dud in the lot (which was promptly replaced by OWC.)

I have also selected OWC's batteries, and have never been disappointed.

I've had no luck on either the "Unsupported OS X" or "PCI PowerMacs"
lists either... I'm assuming there must be a moderation queue, and
there aren't any active moderators. Rather annoying, because I'm
having an issue with my PM7500 that is a complete roadblock to a
project.

The LEM Groups are not the only resources about Macs. Why not ask about your issue with PM7500 on the Apple Support Communities:

Fabian... Sending a user away from us for help because our LEM lists
are borked?! wtf? Uncool.

It would be better to have those users post on g3-5, so a larger
*LEM* group can help them!

Then, once they're back on track getting help, you'all can do
whatever it is you do behind the scenes to get those lists fixed.
